Diesel Engine Car Leaks Fuel, Causes Accidents
A black Isuzu Panther car that drove on the street of Jaya Wijaya, Mojosongo, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, left diesel stains along its drive and caused accidents among motorcyclists.
The stain endangered others, especially motorcyclists because it created a slippery road. Plenty of drivers drove slowly to reduce the risk of their tires slipping on the road. However, some drivers were unaware of it, so they tended to drive casually and even faster. Hence, several of them had accidents.
There were two accidents with injured drivers. Locals swiftly called for the ambulance and luckily, the injury was minor. No casualties were found in this incident. Other accidents were the drivers almost slipping and caused no injury.
During the incidents, locals around the area scattered soil on the stains to prevent another accident. They also warned drivers who drove through that road about the diesel stains to be more careful.
Nobody identified the driver. A witness said, “Nobody knows... whether he is local or not. He keeps driving. Even though he knows he is leaving diesel stains on the road. He should have stopped somewhere nearby."
