Hartono Lifestyle Mall Solo Baru Renovated after Changing Name

In early September 2022, the renovation inside and outside of Hartono Lifestyle Mall Solo Baru has begun after officially changing its name to Pakuwon Mall Solo Baru. 

Rahman, 30, one of the mall visitors stated that most of the stores are currently closed due to the renovation that is not yet completed. “It looks empty on each floor. But, some stores are still open including the foodcourt on the top floor that is always crowded every weekend” He claimed. 

The concept of Pakuwon Mall Solo Baru will be brand new and different from Hartono Lifestyle Mall Solo Baru. There will be a lot of additional stores like Uniqlo, Decathlon, LC Waikiki, Digimap, etc which are going to replace several old stores. The basement area near the hypermart is the only area that is reportedly almost in the process of finishing and it is already occupied by food tenants. 

Matahari, one of the big department stores in the mall, will not be closed down. It used to be located on the ground floor (GF) and the up ground floor )UG). Now it moves to different floors. 

Ratna, the cashier of Matahari Department store, said “It has already moved out and expanded to the up ground floor (UG) and the first floor this October”.
